Os Golden Globe Awards voltaram a ter um apresentador e transmitidos ao vivo na NBC, num registo presencial que aconteceu pela primeira vez desde 2021, e as séries de TV “Abbott Elementary” e “House Of The Dragon”, e os filmes “The Banshees Of Inisherin” e “The Fabelmans” levaram para casa os maiores prémios da noite, constituindo um possível barómetro para a próxima cerimónia dos Ócares da Academia que terá lugar a 12 de março.

Angela Bassett (vencedora do Globo por Melhor Atriz secundária em cinema) tornou-se a primeira atriz a ganhar um prémio individual dos Globos por um filme baseado numa história de banda desenhada da Marvel, pelo seu papel em “Pantera Negra: Wakanda Para Sempre” (“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”).

Foi a primeira vez que um filme da Marvel venceu numa categoria individual de representação nos Globos de Ouro.

“Abbott Elementary” foi a série de TV mais premiada da noite, com três troféus, seguido por “The White Lotus”, que ganhou dois.

The “Banshees of Inisherin” (“Os Espíritos de Inisherin”) foi o filme de cinema que levou mais galardões, também com três prémios.

Seguiu-se “The Fabelmans” (filme autobiográfico, de Steven Spielberg) e “Everything Everywhere All At Once”, que ganharam dois.

Steven Spielberg foi um dos destaques da noite, pois, além do Globo de Ouro de Melhor Realizador, levou para casa o troféu de Melhor Filme Dramático por “Os Fabelmans”, deixando no ar a expectativa de saber se a Academia dos Óscares seguirá as mesmas orientações.

Este foi o 3º Globo de Ouro recebido por Spielberg enquanto realizador: em 1994 por “A Lista de Schindler”; em 1999 por “O Resgate do Soldado Ryan”; e agora, em 2023 por “Os Fabelmans”.
